School's out and off to The Land of Disney!!!

Well we have had great news recently! Jimmy is officially a lisenced school teacher! Great job babe!! I am so so proud of all your hard work! Not everyone could do what you do! Congratulations!!
Two weeks after school got out, Jimmy and I got to go to DISNEYLAND!! We had such a blast together! Since it was Jimmy's very 1st time in the land of happiness, I especially enjoyed his excited face on all the rirdes.......well except one ride.....He didn't really enjoy learning that "It's a small world after all."

Our favorite ride was the Screamin'

We had tons of fun on all the other rides too! No matter where we are or what we are doing, Jimmy is such a fun person to be around. I am always laughing with him!

We also did a session at the San Diego temple, went to the beach and stopped in Vegas.

Hoppy Easter and more.....

Well just to update everybody we had a fantastic Easter weekend! Saturday we spent the day with Peggy...aka..Grandma Bradley and ate pizza and made easter eggs out of rice crispies...yum! It was so fun to spend the day with her and celebrate her 89th birthday! She does not act her age...she acts much younger! I love her and am so glad we had such a fun time with her! I need to start writing down her hilarious quotes!
Sunday morning I woke Jimmy up early to go on his Easter egg hunt around the house. He is going to kill me, but I just HAD to put this picture up! Sorry babe.....love ya!

Jimmy and I have recieved a lot of blessings recently. We just found out that I recieved a department scholarship that will cover tuition and fees for all of next year! Since it is not an activity waiver it means I will no longer be a slave to the dance department....:) Jimmy will officially be a teacher in a week! Good job babe, I am so proud of you!! He has worked very hard and is going to be an amazing teacher and coach! I also found out I am recieving a scholarship for a summer workshop with Repertory Dance Theater! I am so excited because I will get to take class and get to know the company members before I audition! I wanted to thank Mama J for helping me with that! I love you!! I also wanted to thank all of my family and friends who came to see Orchesis! THANK YOU!!! You guys rock! I seriously appreciate your support more than you know! One more year until I snag my degree and audition for the big stages! YES! So that's our story! We are so excited for school to end in about a week and for a wonderful summer to start! We love you all!

A llama and my mama!

I am sick sick sick of school and work. I just got to thinking about how badly I want to go to my southern resort.......aka Mama J's house in Cedar! I cannot wait until school is over and the sun is out so I can hit the desert road. Some of the fun things we do down there are four wheelin, crazy times on the tramp, hiking at Zion's or Kolob, bbq's on the back deck, bike rides at sunset, fire pits and smores at night in the backyard. Ahh take me there now please! Anyways here are some pictures of our past visits to Mama J's.
Mama J riding in the 4th of July parade with her ATV club!!
And now finally here is my mama with a llama cuz lets face it...she is a country girl now! Love!

Jimmy and I made a "Thankful Tree" the other night to decorate for the holiday. We traced our hands, cut them out, and wrote things that we were thankful for on each finger. The next day, after I had been at school all day rehearsing, I found a paper hand on my car. On each finger was written "Emily". I am so grateful for my husband and the love he shows me everyday. We both know that we have a LOT to be thankful for this holiday. Most of all I am thankful for Jimmy and how he takes care of me. No matter what happens we always have each other. Thanks for making me laugh every single day babe! Happy 3 months!!!

BOO!

I love October! This has been such a fun month because it is fall, our birthdays and Halloween! Just wanted to say thanks to all our family for the fun parties, gifts and food! This weekend we had a blast going to parties hosted by friends. We decided to go with a costume that didn't cost money. I was a deer and Jimmy was a hunter. It was so fun! Next year we will carve our pumpkins a little closer to Halloween because ours turned green with mold. The street we live on is so beautiful because there are so many big trees and the orange and yellow leaves are gorgeous! There were a ton of trick-or-treaters because our neighbors decorate like nothing I have ever seen! They had fog machines, monsters flying in the trees, projections, strobe lights and more! Fun, fun, fun! I love my husband and I loved celebrating our birthdays and Halloween for the first time together! Thanks for everything babe!

Jimmy was not too happy to wake up to all this SNOW! We are looking forward to a fresh season on the slopes but not looking forward to waking up in the bitter cold and driving to school in this mess! All I know is there better be a few good snow days where campus is closed! Just wanted to say thanks to Mama J for the snow tires....gonna need them! We are living in a winter wonderland that is for sure!!

Come Home!

I was woken up at 5:30 friday morning by a man hovering over me with black war paint on his face. It was my husband saying,"I'm goin huntin babe!" I had been dreading this day all week. After being married only six weeks my husband was leaving me for five days to go sleep in the wilderness. I did not even realize how hard it was going to be to say goodbye to him. Not only do I not get to see him but he does not have cell phone service so we cannot even call or text. I worry all day long that he is safe and warm. With the rain down here and the extreme drop in temperature, I know they must be dealing with snow up there. I have kept myself busy with homework, cleaning house and hanging out with my girlfriends. Last night we went out to eat and had a slumber party. It was a lot of fun but I still miss my Jim boy! But he looks forward to this trip with his brothers and friends every year. I just hope my baby kills something soon so that he can come home!

Welcome!

Jimmy and I met at Weber State in December. He proposed April 30th and we were married August 19 in the Salt Lake Temple. What a wonderful year this has been. I have been so blessed to have Jimmy in my life. There is no one else on this earth that makes me laugh as hard as him. Life will never be dull with Jimmy. He has made my life better and inspired me. I know our love can get us through anything.
We both have many goals and work very hard to achieve them. Jimmy graduated with a bachelors in physical education and a minor in psychology. He was just recently hired to be the High School Outreach Director at the Boys and Girls Club. He is so talented and a great example to teens. He is also going another year at Weber to get his teaching degree. I'm so proud of him. I am a dance major at Weber State. This is my third year and I am loving the program. I have met so many wonderful girls that have become close friends. I also teach dance at a competition studio. I have had many great opportunities through this job and enjoy sharing my love for dance.
Being young, poor, college students and newly weds has been slightly exhausting but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Jimmy gives me the motivation to get up each day and do all that I need to. We are a great team.
